Ingredients used

  • 1 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • For The Oat Almond Crumble Topping:
  • ¼ cold unsalted butter
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/8 cup flour
  • 6 Tbsp brown sugar
  • ¼ cup white sugar
  • ¾ tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Preparation

  • Step 1

Place the frozen Apple Pie Delight Danishes on a parchment lined baking sheet, wrap, then let them thaw at room temperature for 30 minutes.

  • Step 2

    Butter the ring molds (4 x 1 ½“ ring molds) and set-aside.

  • Step 3

For the crumble, combine the flour, brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon and salt. Stir together until fully combined. Cut the cold butter into small pieces and add to the dry mixture. Using your hands, rub the butter into the dry mixture until a crumble has formed. Add the oats and sliced almond into the mixture and mix until combined.

  • Step 4

Fold the corners of the thaw Danish underneath to create a rounded shape. Place inside of the ring molds. Top with the oat almond crumble and bake for 16-18 minutes.

  • Step 5

Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before removing from the molds, then serve warm with accompaniments like caramel sauce, creme anglaise, ice cream, or fresh whipped cream.
