Ingredients used
Perfect croissant 
 
Perfect croissant Quantity: 
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 4oz Gruyere cheese, sliced
- 8 oz Ham, sliced
- 4 Eggs
- 2 oz Milk
- 4 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 4 tbsp Dijon Mustard
- A pinch of Nutmeg
- A pinch of Cayenne
- Powdered sugar
- Maple syrup
Preparation
- STEP 1 Slice croissants, spread each with mayonnaise and mustard. Equally arrange the ham and cheese on each 
- STEP 2 Combine eggs, milk, nutmeg and cayenne and mix and beat with fork or whisk until smooth. 
- STEP 3 Dip each sandwich to coat with egg mixture on both sides. 
- STEP 4 Place on pan or griddle set to medium heat. Cook on both sides until cheese has melted. 
- STEP 5 Dust lightly with powdered sugar and serve with small dish of maple syrup for dipping.
